The Victims of McClure Solicitors Facebook Community was created to offer support, share experiences, and advocate for justice in a respectful and constructive environment. To ensure everyone feels safe and heard, we’ve outlined a set of rules that help maintain clarity, kindness, and purpose in our discussions.

Please take a moment to read through the guidelines below. By participating in the group, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute positively to our shared mission.

  • When requesting to join this group, if the personal FB account is less than 6 months old, the moderator/administrator will contact to confirm the validity of the account. This is to try and stop those joining the group with fake accounts and ulterior motives.
  • We do not allow pages to join the group. This is to protect our members.
  • Before posting, please read the guides and information in the FILES or use the search option to find discussions, it is likely that your question has been asked many times before.
  • Posts are and remain the copyright of the member who posts.
  • Please do not copy and paste, posts, text or images and circulate on other platforms.
  • Please do not post personal documents, or legal documents you have received on the group page.
  • Please do not post private or direct messages in any form from discussions you may have with other members.
  • Please refrain from expressing opinions without being able to provide evidence from a reliable source.
  • Please be courteous to each other, open criticism is not helpful and if it occurs, the matter should be discussed personally and not on the page.
  • No swearing or foul language and no emojis.
  • Do not use inflammatory language or defamations. Members come to the group often in emotionally difficult circumstances and we are here to help and to let people know they are not alone and that there are others who can provide support to navigate out of the situation. This is not the place to express your anger and frustration – this is a given for every post we receive.
  • Private direct messaging. This is a public group and while we do our best to establish the legitimacy of each individual member, we of course cannot monitor conversations outside the group space and members must be aware of taking discussions offline or taking advice in this way.
  • We ask members not to provide what could be construed to be legal advice on the group page.
  • Solicitors, Estate Planners and Financial Planners in practice are not allowed to join the group. This is to create a safe environment.
  • Whilst there may be disagreement in approach, the communicated objectives of the group are paramount, attempts to disrupt the group from its objectives will not be accepted.
